If "deep state" were to be a love poem, balaclava would have been its title.
Hidden deep inside our lives, so deep that we can't even notice, lost inside our daily life, fascism visits our homes every now and then through our television sets; "heroes" in balaclavas and their "sacred" wars... Deeper than Alice's rabbit hole, so deep that it makes you wonder when you'll hit rock bottom... It's a dark road with no ending.
Life isn't getting any better today, there are still massive problems of hunger, poverty, death from curable diseases, floods, droughts and many others. Contemporary art mostly deals with the personal blues of post-modern human beings. As one can imagine, the constant disappearance of some "forgotten" people is preoccupying neither prime-time news nor the interests of the masses.
